Holly is an enthusiastic presenter who has been a public school teacher for 20+ years. She earned the distinction of Teacher of the Year in 2001, and currently works as an instructional coach at “Conscious Discipline STAR School” Fern Creek Elementary. Holly has taught in high-poverty minority schools throughout her career with Orange County, gaining first-hand insights and real-life experiences that can benefit others.

Holly earned a B.A. from University of Central Florida in 1988 and has been working with Conscious Discipline for over 14 years. As a teacher of high-risk students, Holly came to Conscious Discipline because she knew traditional classroom management techniques weren’t working. In her search for a better way, Holly slowly began implementing Conscious Discipline under Dr. Bailey’s tutelage. After seeing how the children responded to Conscious Discipline, Holly knew she had found the answer to many difficult questions.

Holly’s current teaching position was created by her principal to focus Fern Creek Elementary on school-wide Conscious Discipline implementation. Holly presently teaches teachers how to fully implement Conscious Discipline skills and strategies in classrooms pre-k thru 6th grade. Holly also teaches at Orlando Vocational Tech where she trains pre-school teachers how to use Conscious Discipline skills and strategies in classrooms and child care facilities.

Holly’s expertise ranges from preschool through 6th grade, and from individual classroom to school-wide implementation. Selected as a Loving Guidance Associate in 2007, she is certain to bring many helpful insights and useful strategies to your school or program.
